Why Choose Our Whale Watching Tour in Bora Bora

Not all whale watching tours offer the same experience. Here’s what makes ours different:

  • Local marine experts with deep knowledge of whale behavior
  • Respectful approach: no chasing, no pressure on animals
  • Small groups only for a more intimate experience
  • High probability of sightings during peak season
  • Focus on safety and education, not just observation

Our goal is simple: offer a meaningful, respectful, and unforgettable encounter with humpback whales.

What to Expect During Your Whale Watching Experience

Your adventure begins with a warm welcome and a safety briefing from your guide.
Once on board, we head out into the open ocean where humpback whales migrate each year.

Depending on conditions and whale behavior, you may:

  • Observe whales from the boat
  • Witness incredible surface behaviors (breaching, tail slaps)
  • Potentially enter the water for a respectful in-water observation

Every experience is unique and that’s what makes it so special.

When is Whale Watching Season in Bora Bora?

Whale watching in French Polynesia is strictly regulated to protect humpback whales during their migration.

In 2025, the official authorized season runs from July 20 to November 20.

During this period, humpback whales arrive in the warm waters of French Polynesia to breed and give birth.

  • Start of the season: Late July
